A bank that lives on your smartphone, Monzo believes in treating customers fairly and being totally transparent. The London digital bank focuses on solving problems, rather than selling financial products.
Monzo now has more than 600,000 customers using its debit cards to manage their money and spend around the world.
In June 2018, Monzo announced a partnership with TransferWise to provide international payments from within its mobile app. In August, it emerged that Monzo is looking to close a $150 million funding round by the end of the year, pushing it to "unicorn" status, with a $1.5 billion valuation.
